The Corona Files - Part #10

Welcome to the newest format from the Genghis and Ragman Show.  We are titling this series The Corona Files.  This is going to be a different format from the regular show, but will still provide similar content.  We are dedicated to put out more shows, weekly, while we're all on lock down.  Join us tonight for part 10 in this series where we discuss our current status as well as discuss the handling/mis-handling of ticket refunds amidst the avalanche of cancelled tours, due to the pandemic.  How are the larger bands dealing with the shutdown?  Next, the boys caught up with Ex-Rough Cutt/ex-King Kobra vocalist Paul Shortino, to discuss his upcoming release Make A Wish as well as life in Las Vegas during the pandemic.   Paul gives the skinny on his upcoming release, where he discusses the different players on the record as well as some of the deeper meanings behind some of the songs on the new record.  He also discusses King Kobra as well as his plans to take new material to the stage.

Welcome to the newest format from the Genghis and Ragman Show.  We are titling this series The Corona Files.  This is going to be a different format from the regular show, but will still provide similar content.  We are dedicated to put out more shows, weekly, while we're all on lock down.  Join us tonight for part 9 in this series where we discuss our current status as well as bring on listener Eric Rhodes to get his take on the pandemic and how it has affected his as a music fan.  The boys also discuss how artists are keeping active during the shelter in place.  Prior to the pandemic, the boys caught up with Sifting guitarist Richard Garcia, to discuss Siftings's latest release The Infinite Loop.  Rich gives us an inside look how the band writes music as well as discusses their hopes of landing on a good tour.

Welcome to the newest format from the Genghis and Ragman Show.  We are titling this series The Corona Files.  This is going to be a different format from the regular show, but will still provide similar content.  We are dedicated to put out more shows, weekly, while we're all on lock down.  Join us tonight for part 8 in this series where we discuss our current status as well as well as how artists are finding ways to get together to put out YouTube videos.  For example the boys are particularly excited about the new videos from S.O.D. and The Circle.  Next, the guys put together their wish list of bands that they wish would bury the hatchet to put out material during the lockdown.  Prior to the pandemic, the boys caught up with Black Swan vocalist Robin McAuley, to discuss Black Swan's debut release Shake The World.  Robin also discusses how the band came together as well as the possibility of Black Swan doing live dates in the future.

Welcome to the newest format from the Genghis and Ragman Show.  We are titling this series The Corona Files.  This is going to be a different format from the regular show, but will still provide similar content.  We are dedicated to put out more shows, weekly, while we're all on lock down.  Join us tonight for part 7 in this series where we discuss our current status as well as well as how artist are reacting to the pandemic, by offering new merch, including face masks.  Also, the boys discuss how artists are trying to help by auctioning off memorabilia and donating the proceeds to those affected by Covid-19.    Next the boys welcome Bonfire bassist Ronnie Parkes, to discuss how the pandemic has affected the New Jersey/New York area.  He also discusses Bonfire's latest release Fistful of Fire, as well as some of the deeper meanings behind some of the songs, on the new record.  He also discusses what is it like being the only American in and all German metal band as what the band is looking at tour wise.

Welcome to the newest format from the Genghis and Ragman Show.  We are titling this series The Corona Files.  This is going to be a different format from the regular show, but will still provide similar content.  We are dedicated to put out more shows, weekly, while we're all on lock down.  Join us tonight for part 6 in this series where we discuss our current status as well as discuss Dave Ellefeson's Youth Music Foundation - School's Out Initiative, and how it will benefit students stuck at home, due to the virus.  Next the guys evaluate the mentors, of the initiative, and put together an allstar band from those involved.  Next the boys welcome back, friend of the show, Ex-Dio guitarist Tracy G to discuss how he'scoping, in L.A., during the pandemic.  Tracy also talks about the various projects that he's involved with, including a new band Gale Force, which includes Barren Cross vocalist Mike Lee.  Tracy also talks about how Ronnie James Dio gave him free reign to arrange guitar solos live, any way he saw fit
