Podcast #242:  Aging

As we get older, we see our heroes getting older as well.  Many of our favorite artists are retiring, as well as passing away.  It is a grim reality, but something we must face as fans.  The most important thing is to honor the ones that put the smiles on our faces, and our fists in the air.  Join Genghis and Ragman as they discuss some of their favorite bands and their farewell tours.  Also, the boys dissect the killer new DVD from Mr. Big.  Next the boys chat it up with drummer, Michael Ehre, from one of their favorite new bands The Unity.  Michael discusses their latest album Rise as well as their transformation from Love Might Kill to The Unity.

Podcast #241: Solo

Remember back in the day, when all you wanted to hear was a kick ass guitar solo?  Like most of us, Genghis and Ragman would turn their noses up to bands that had deleted solos from their repertoire.  No solo, no listen; Got it, Good!  It wasn't until Sevendust, that the boys had a change of heart.  Sevendust brought such a killer groove that it made it easier to ignore that their wasn't a guy shredding at the solo break.  Join Genghis and Ragman as they discuss the power of the 80's guitar solo as well as the 90's downtuned solo-less alternative.  Next the boys are joined by ex-Dio, Dream Child axeman Craig Goldy as he discusses his band's debut release Until Death Do We Meet again.  Craig discusses the direction that he took on this record as well as reminisce about his time in Dio.
