Podcast #262: Foam
Join Genghis and Ragman as they hit the road to Foamhenge. Foamhenge is put on by the Karbach Brewery, and was headlined this year by Accept and Ace Frehley for a night of hard rock and metal. Before the big guys hit the stage the boys sat down for some grub, beer and banter. G & R were joined by local DJ Goodtime Charlie to discuss the festival as well as the 35th anniversary of the cult classic This is Spinal Tap. They were also joined by Pat Travers bassist David Pastorious who discusses playing with Pat, as well as giving the skinny on his new album Radio Gold.
Next the boys welcomed back Rob De Luca from UFO and Spread Eagle. Rob discusses the final dates on the UFO tour as well how well all of the gigs have gone. It's ashame with the band playing this well, that it has to end, but at this point it is all up to Phil Mogg if the band continues, or calls it a day. He also talks about the upcoming Spread Eagle tour, next year as well as some other things he has cooking.
