Podcast #105: Air

An Evening With...Dan ReedHave you ever felt [mentally] lost and didn't know where to go?  A lot of us may go through this every now and again, but we come out of it and try to pick up where we left off.  We all go on journeys through life, some take us to places we never imagined, and others take us to places we wish we could forget.  Being a musician has to be a tough thing because things can turn on a dime.  Join Genghis and Ragman as they go on just such an extraordinary journey with singer/songwriter, Dan Reed (Dan Reed Network), as we return to the latest in the An Evening With... series.  Dan discusses his return to music as well as his latest CD, Coming up for Air.

Hi Guys

Great interview with Dan saw him recently here in Newcastle, England as well as way back in the day a couple of times, and very contrasting, but nonetheless entertaining vibes. His new stuff has a Marc Jordan feel to it to my ears.

Nice to get the back story of why the Network went on hiatus.

Off to see Ed Kowalzyck at London next week, his new album is very good, reminiscent of Throwing Copper.

Anyway ta for the podcasts

High Props...Horns UP!

Glad you dug the interview, Simon. And we hope you're enjoying the new site. I'm taking a while to get things back in order (as usual), but I hope to have it all back online soon.

Keep listening, and we'll keep making the cast. And keep those HORNS UP!

- Genghis is excited to finally see a comment on the new site...

Heard of Dan Reed in the day but never think I noticed. The first song was a little too funk for me but I really enjoyed the new album. I like mellower stuff with a message or history to it. Its on ITunes so thats a good thing. As soon as I clear a check I am getting it!
