Great interview with a guy easy to talk to in JSJ! Love the new record as it is a solid release! Hey Jamie I know you don't want to do clubs so consider getting on the casino run and play Mohegan Sun. If not do a singing gig with the Nelsons Scrap Metal as many artists then get gigs there with there own bands! I just started getting Revolver this past month and I must say I won't reup after the 6 issues. Bands I have never heard of or to damn loud and no melody for me. Seems like a magazine aimed toward the skateboard people!

Interesting that you say that, Snake. I've tried to use Revolver (mainly because it's about half the price of Metal Hammer) to turn me on to new bands in the interest of keeping up with the genre, but admittedly, I only manage to find 1 or 2 out of every 10 I try that actually impresses me - and who knows if they'll even be around in a few years. This is why Rags and I end up coming back to classic older bands who have stood the test of time, as it were.

And, by the way, sorry if we seemed to miss the point of your discussion post on artists making singles in our recent podcast, but we do appreciate the feedback and hope the show was somewhat entertaining anyway. Hope you keep listening and we'll try to keep the show interesting for you guys.

HORNS UP!

- Genghis sadly seems to have less free time than ever these days...
